Tesi, la tradizione fiorentina del cappello

Durante la mia visita al Pitti Immagine Uomo 86 ho scoperto un brand straordinario: la cappelleria  Tesi. Avevo già sentito parlare di questo marchio  per merito di una collaboratrice che lavora per loro come fotografa, e ho deciso di scoprire qualcosa di più

Tesi è una cappelleria a conduzione familiare fondata a Firenze nel 1850. La famiglia Tesi, arrivata alla quinta generazione nell’azienda, ha come obiettivo il preservare questa tradizione, lavorando nel mercato di oggi, pieno di sfide e con continue richieste di innovazione. Infatti creano cappelli per alcuni importantissimi brand del lusso e per star della musica. Le loro linee sono in feltro, paglia e tessuto, i materiali che hanno fatto la storia del cappello negli ultimi tre secoli.

Quello che non sapevo è che hanno deciso di creare la loro linea, e l’ho vista al Pitti. Nelle immagini potete ammirarla, insieme, successivamente, ad alcuni classici dell’azienda Tesi.

During my visit to Pitti Immagine Uomo 86 I discovered an amazing brand: Tesi hats. I had heard about this brand before thanks to a friend photographer, and decided to learn  something more.

Tesi is a family-run business founded in 1850 in Florence. The Tesi family, now at the fifth generation in the business,  has the aim of preserving this heritage, working in the nowadays market, filled with challenges and the continuous  demand for  product innovation. In fact, they create amazing hats for some of the most important fashion luxury brands as well as for music stars. Their lines are in felt, straw and fabric, the materials that have made the history of the hats in the last three centuries.

What  we didn’t know is that they decided to create their own line, and it was exposed at Pitti 86. Here you can see the new Tesi’s collection and some classics.
