Juliet Morris Couture è un brand d’alta moda che ha appena visto la luce nell’istituto di moda Modartech, ed è stato creato dalla giovane stilista Pamela Baldini. questa è la sua prima collezione, ed è stata presentata in un bellissimo luogo, che conosciamo molto bene: l’Antica Profumeria Monalys, a Firenze.
È stata una piacevolissima serata, ed è stata l’occasione per incontrare molti vecchi amici e conoscenti, e anche giornalisti ed altri blogger. Anche se direi che la bellezza di queste creazioni è stato l’aspetto che ha maggiormente ha calamitato la mia attenzione!
La collezione è ispirata dalle donne dell’arte e nella storia. Il nome della collezione è Love is Enough, ed è ispirata a molte anime: una donna delicata, una donna guerriera, una donna eterea. Ispirazioni differenti per molti differenti personaggi.
Il senso di eredità di valori antichi è sia nel mood che nell’aspetto dei capi: le stampe floreali botticelliane e l’armatura di una Giovanna D’Arco contemporanea sono entrambi i simboli di una femminilità che riceviamo in eredità dal nostro passato, ogni epoca ci consegna un mood che confluisce in uno stile New Romantic.
Paola Baldini è laureata in architettura, ha una passione per l’arte e la Storia del Costume, ed è una collezionista di capi vintage. Il suo lavoro risente sia del suo studio filologico sia della sua personalità ed è un insieme di conoscenza ed creatività.
È la prima designer ad aver creato la sua collezione al termine del percorso di studi del Fashion Design Job Master nell’ambito del Modartech Lab Project.

Juliet Morris Couture is a haute couture brand, and it’s brand new! It was born in the Modartech fashion institute and it was created by the young fashion designer Pamela Baldini. This is her first collection, and the presentation was held in a very lovely place, Antica Profumeria Monalys in Florence.
It was a great evening, and on this occasion I met some old friends of mine as well as some journalists and bloggers. But I think that the beauty of these creations was the most important aspect of the event.
The collection was inspired by the women in art and history. The name of the collection is Love is Enough. A delicate woman, a warrior-fighter woman, an ethereal woman. Different inspirations for different characters.
The ancient traits are in the mood as well as in the look: the Botticelli floral prints and the Jeanne d’Arc armor are both symbols of an ancient and new femininity, a mood for every age and a “New Romantic” style for the nowadays women.
Pamela Baldini is an architect with a passion for Art and History of Costume, and she is a vintage clothes collector. Her work was born from her philological studies and her attitude is a mixture of knowledge and artistic flair.
She is the first designer who created her own collection at the end of the course in Fashion Design Job Master in the Modartech Lab Project.
