Beauty Review: L’Occitane Invigorating Face and Eye Mask

I decided to write another beauty review, and this time it’s about a product that I truly love, L’Occitane Invigorating Face and Eye Mask. There are so many reasons why I love it! I could start by writing about the fragrance, or maybe the fresh effect on your skin, or maybe even the great final effect you get after the use. But I think that it’s better to proceed methodically.

Something about L’Occitane Face and Eye Mask

The Invigorating Face and Eye Mask  by L’Occitane is great for two reasons: first of all  because you can also use it on your eye contour, and also because it makes your skin moisturized and softer. Your complexion will look more radiant even when you’re tired. Of course using on eyes contour helps reducing eye puffiness.
It can be used on all skin types because basically it’s reviving and provides hydration.
The most powerful ingredient of its formula is Melon (antioxidant) and it is very clear when you smell it because the fragrance is very natural and nice. It’s antioxidant. Also in this mask there is Vitamin C that is very well known for its anti dullness effects.

Some Context – Something about Me and how I used this Product

As you already know I’m in my forties and have always had dry and sensitive skin but my eye contour actually looks younger that it really is because through the years I’ve always used lots of very good quality beauty products on it.
I bought this mask together with the other products I already reviewed; to be honest I made my purchase on the same pre lockdown day.

This fact is worth a mention! I have to say that I truly love visiting L’Occitane stores and that day  it was great, as always. I discovered LOTS of interesting products. But after testing many face masks, I knew that this one was what I was looking for. I received a lot of help and beauty tips and my opinion about the product cannot be separated by the L’Occitane shopping experience.
As you know I’m a Personal Shopper in life, but it was great to be on the other side just for a change!

My experience with Face and Eye Mask  by L’Occitane

I followed the instructions and by doing so I used it on a weekly basis and kept it on my face for 10-15 minutes. I usually use face masks after doing a face scrub. This is because my skin is ready to receive all the benefits from any beauty product.
I obviously used it on my eye contour, too. From time to time I used it “only” an eye mask, just whenever I felt that my skin in that area was in need of some hydration and to look better.

Some final thoughts

My opinion about this product is definitely positive. I truly enjoyed using it and I got great results because it makes my skin look not only more hydrated but also plumper and brighter. I never experienced eye puffiness in all of my life so I cannot say anything about this.

I decided to do some research and what I found out is incredible. Apparently, this blog post you are reading right now is one of the very few online reviews you will see about Invigorating Face and Eye Mask. I honestly cannot understand how this is possible. Probably L’Occitane is considered a niche brand but living in Italy I find this fact absolutely unbelievable!

Ho deciso di scrivere un’altra review sul beauty e questa volta è su un prodotto che ho decisamente amato moltissimo, di un brand che già conoscevo molto bene e preso in un negozio che frequento sempre, non appena posso. Si tratta della Maschera Rivitalizzante per Viso e Occhi  di L’Occitane. Le ragioni per cui la adoro sono davvero molte. Potrei cominciare scrivendo della fragranza, al melone e molto naturale, o forse dell’effetto che lascia sul viso dopo l’uso. Ma è meglio procedere con ordine!

Un po’ di info sulla maschera Rinvigorente di L’Occitane per Viso e Occhi

La Maschera Rivitalizzante per Viso e Occhi  di L’Occitane è fantastica perchè non solo ha un effetto incredibile sulla pelle del viso, ma può, come dice il nome, essere utilizzata anche sul contorno occhi. Questo prodotto ha reso la mia pelle più s office e idratata e mi ha aiutato ad apparire quasi radiosa anche in un momento in cui ero decisamente stanca! Naturalmente, gli stessi effetti di riscontrano anche sul contorno occhi. Io non ho il problema del gonfiore, ma questo è uno degli effetti che potete combattere usandola.

È adatta a ogni tipo di pelle perchè comunque di base idrata e rivitalizza l’incarnato. L’ingrediente più distintivo è il melone di Provenza, e quando ne sentirete il buonissimo profumo aprendo il vasetto ne avrete la certezza! Le proprietà del melone in cosmesi c’è anche l’effetto antiossidante.
in questa maschera c’è anche la vitamina C, ben conosciuta per i suoi effetti anti stanchezza.

Un po’ di contesto: chi sono e come utilizzo le maschere

Come probabilmente già saprete, sono nei 40 e o sempre avuto pelle secca e sensibile. Il mio contorno occhi appare con meno segni di quanto ci si aspetterebbe perché sin da quando avevo 16 anni ho sempre usato prodotti di alta qualità in questa zona del viso.
Però l’acquisto di un prodotto L’Occitane merita un discorso a parte!
Io adoro visitare gli store di questo brand di cosmesi, e quel giorno, come tutte le altre volte, ho avuto una bellissima esperienza. Infatti mi hanno illustrato molti prodotti fra quelli che potevano servirmi e dopo aver testato una serie di maschere ho capito q che questa era quella giusta. Ho ricevuto attenzioni e consigli. Quindi è per questo che dico che il giudizio sul prodotto non può essere separato da quello sul negozio e sul personale di vendita.
Come sapete sono una personal shopper, e vi posso dire che è stato molto bello stare dall’altra parte, per una volta!

 

La mia esperienza con la Maschera Rinvigorente di L’Occitane

Ho seguito i consigli ricevuti in negozio e così ho utilizzato questo prodotto settimanalmente tenendolo in azione per 10-15 minuti. Io normalmente utilizzo le maschere idratanti dopo uno scrub, in modo che la pelle sia pronta per riceverne tutti i benefici.
Questo l’ho ovviamente utilizzata anche sul contorno occhi. Anzi, ogni tanto ho usato solo questa funzione, ogni volta che ho sentito che la mia pelle aveva bisogno di maggiore idratazione in quest’area.

Alcune considerazioni finali

La mia opinione su questo prodotto è decisamente positiva. Mi è piaciuto utilizzarla e ho sempre ottenuto buoni risultati, dal momento che ha permesso alla mia pelle di apparire più idratata, ma anche più piena e luminosa. Devo dire che non mi capita mai di avere gli occhi gonfi, quindi non posso dire molto riguardo a questo!

Ho deciso di fare un po’ di ricerca e  quello che ho scoperto mi è sembrato incredibile. A quanto pare, il blog post che state leggendo adesso è una delle pochissime recensione che troverete online su questa maschera viso. Onestamente non riesco a comprendere come questo sia possibile. Probabilmente L’Occitane viene considerato un brand di nicchia, ma vivendo in Italia devo dire che trovo questo fatto decisamente incredibile!
