PopDesign, nuova vita al Vintage

Questo è un brand davvero innovativo e divertente: PopDesign.
Da dove nasce? Da una scatola di bottoni di una vecchia sartoria. Bottoni bellissimi che dovevano servire per i vestiti. Erano stupendi, e così chi li ha trovati ha deciso di donare loro una secodnda vita.
E così è nata l’idea di PopDesign, riutilizzare oggetti di altre epoche per creare qualcosa di nuovo e unico.

Si tratta di un lavoro di reconstruction che francamente adoro. A Ferrara ho ricevuto come cadeau da Pop Design un monoorecchino ricavato da un pezzo di domino inglese degli anni ’80, e ogni volta che lo indosso non manca di attirare l’attenzione e di farmi ricevere complimenti.

This brand really is new and fun: its name is PopDesign.
Where does it come from? From a box of buttons coming from an old tailoring studio. Beautiful buttons that were used to make clothes, for rich and beautiful clients. They were still wonderful, and so those who found them decided to give them a second life.
And so the idea of Pop Design was born, re-using nice objects from the past to create something new and unique.
It is a work of reconstruction that I love. In Ferrara I received as a cadeau by PopDesign: an earring created from  from a piece of English domino from the 80s, and every time I wear it, it always catches the attention and the people that I meet often ask me about it!
