We all know that accessories have generally to be matched with one another in color and style, but despite this general rule, there is much more to think about if one is willing to have a sharp style.

Belts are one of the details we should always keep an eye on when deciding what to wear. In fact, not only they have a function, they also complete an outfit in some ways that we generally do not pay specific attention to.

Shortly, here are some historic facts. The belts showed up  in men’s wardrobes  after the First World War, when the waistcoats disappeared and, of course,  the braces followed them, because  at that point they were ugly to be seen; as a consequence, the waistline appeared to be significantly  lowered.
Braces are being very popular nowadays, as some really very cool guys are wearing them in a brilliant way, but  we could say that belts are a symbol of clean lines and modern attitude.

How should you choose the belt to wear daily?
When opening your wardrobe in the morning, hopefully a well organized one, just keep in mind these easy little rules.

When wearing a Suit: better not to choose showy models with  bright leather; the bucket must be kept simple.
Mismatched jacket and trousers: better wearing sporty models in leather without embellishments or patterns. I also recommend dedicating your stranded belts to the most casual outfits.
Last but not least: always remember to coordinate the color of the bucket with the other metal accessories that you are wearing.

Which models should never miss in my wardrobe?
Here are 3 basic Shopping Tips:

The Must have Belt: the simple black belt with brass buckle. This model is obviously perfect  with black shoes – for the most formal occasions.
The Exotic Skin Belt: belts with reptile prints are not for all, but alligator belts are nowadays universally accepted in every occasion.
The Iconic Belt: the legendary Hermes belt with the golden H brass buckle. Hermès offers a wide assortment of colors and leathers, but do not forget that the most basic and important ones are in black and brown (and orange, for those who love the brand a little too much!).

I dettagli significano molto. Ecco perché dovremmo porvi attenzione, soprattutto nella moda maschile.
Tutti sappiamo che gli accessori in generale devono essere abbinati fra loro per forma e per stile, ma nonostante questa norma generale sia sempre valida, c’è molto da conoscere se si è alla ricerca di uno stile ben definito.

Le cinture sono quel particolare su cui dovremmo sempre buttare un occhio nel momento in cui si decide cosa indosseremo. Infatti, non solo anno una funzione, ma possono completare un outfit in modi a cui spesso si guarda soltanto superficialmente.

Ecco in breve un po’ di storia. Le cinture sono apparse per la prima volta nel guardaroba maschile dopo la Prima Guerra Mondiale, con la scomparsa dei panciotto e naturalmente con la conseguente scomparsa delle bretelle, che a quel punto erano antiestetiche da vedere. Una delle  conseguenze fu che il punto vita per la prima volta si abbassò visibilmente rispetto al passato.
Le bretelle sono molto di tendenza oggi, e molti le sanno indossare in modo molto brillante ed elegante, ma potremmo affermare che, vista la sua origine, la cintura è un simbolo di stile moderno e dalle linee pulite.

Come dovremmo indossare la cintura nella vita di tutti I giorni?
Quando aprite il vostro guardaroba al mattino, meglio se un guardaroba bene organizzato, tenete a mente queste tre semplici regole.

Se dovete indossare un completo: meglio evitare modelli cintura vistosi magari in pelle lucida;  la fibbia  dovrebbe essere preferibilmente molto semplice.
Se indosserete uno spezzato: meglio indossare modelli sportivi, sempre in pelle, ma senza alcun particolare orpello o stile. Per esempio, l’intrecciato consiglierei di lasciarlo ai look più casual.
Per finire: ricordate sempre di coordinare il colore della fibbia con le parti metalliche degli altri accessori che indosserete.
