5 Great Tuscany Outlets Selected by a Local

It’s not a secret that we all love outlet shopping. Outlet shopping nowadays is naturally part of any travel experience. As a Personal Shopper, I sometimes receive some requests about shopping tours to all the best outlets in Tuscany and so I decided to share some advice about the 5 malls that I like most.

The Mall

The Mall is “the” outlet. You really need to visit it. It’s a great experience for so many reasons!
First of all because it’s a beautiful location. Its architecture makes your visit enjoyable as everything in it is clear, neat and easy to identify. There are huge maps that are displayed in so many landmarks so that you don’t have to actually look for the shops. Plus, the setting is so well cared for it doesn’t even look like an outlet.

But the thing is, it actually IS an outlet. All the brands display great pieces of clothing from their past boutique collections, so you can be sure you will find anything you missed from the past.
I you’re planning to visit it on the sale season, just keep in mind that every brand has its own shipping and return policies.

Where to have lunch: one of the best things of The Mall is Dot.Com, a great lunch bar that serves some of the best salads I have ever had. I really enjoy going there with my clients because I already know that at the lunch break we’ll have a delicious meal.

Space, the Prada Outlet

Why should I go to the Prada Outlet when there’s a Prada outlet near The Mall? Because, Prada.
This is a real slice of the Prada universe, that has been built and conceived with its own organization and rules, even with its signature visuals and architecture. Here you can find so many Prada and Miu Miu attire, and everything is displayed in such a great style.
if you love this brand, the Prada Outlet is a great way to be surrounded in this atmosphere and concept.

Keep in mind that, depending on the time you arrive there, probably you’ll have to wait in line for going in. But their very good organization makes everything smooth: as soon as you park your car, you have to take a number from a dispenser that is just outside the main entrance. This will allow you to wait in line and also you have to keep this number with you. In this way you can bring your things at the check-out without having to keep them with you all the time. I love this because it’s so practical. Anyway the stewards will be there to help you with everything and explain all the (easy) rules.
The Prada outlet employees are my favorite ones! They are so helpful and always keen on giving all the info about any item.

I always arrive quite early in the morning to have breakfast in their awesome bar. Try their pastry selection, it’s absolutely delicious,

Cavalli Factory Outlet

This is another outlet that is only about one brand. It’s in the industrial area of Osmannoro, north from Florence, not far from the Cavalli production and offices headquarters. I recommend visiting this outlet because it’s great to have some enjoyable fashion shopping, even if Cavalli is not the brand you would wear every day. I’ve always found something that I was able to mix with something I already had in my closet.

Clara Lorj

This could be truly defined as a tourist free outlet. It it’s all about people from Florence. There is a reason why we love Clara Lorj and it’s the fact that they always have several brands and so many different styles in one outlet. It’s possible to choose among so many different things!
Not only they display so many brands, but also there is a huge choice among them; I bet you are going to really enjoy the experience. Also, the staff is super nice and helpful.

Sotto Sotto

Not a secret place indeed, as we all know it’s part of a chain of outlet that can be found in many Italian cities, but definitely a great place for some good and lucky fashion finds! It’s in the city center, so you can easily reach it going on foot. Not a place where I would go for “shopping fun”, because I see it mainly as the place where you find the missing piece for your outfit, for an evening look, or the thing you forgot to pack for your journey.

Penso proprio che questo post interesserà a molti. Perché a molti interessano gli outlet, e la Toscana è spesso meta di viaggi, quindi vi spiegherò quali sono secondo me i migliori outlet della Toscana.

Non è un segreto che tutti amiamo fare shopping negli outlet. Oggi lo shopping è naturalmente diventato parte di qualsiasi esperienza di viaggio. Come Personal Shopper talvolta ricevo richieste di questo tipo e quindi ho deciso di scrivere sui 5 outlet toscani che preferisco.

The Mall

The Mall è il vero outlet. Per questo credo che tutti dovrebbero farci una scappata ogni tanto. È una bella esperienza di shopping per molte ragioni!
Innanzitutto, è bello. Lo stile architettonico rende la visita piacevole, perché le linee sono chiare, pulite, e tutto è facile da identificare a colpo d’occhio. Oltretutto vi si trovano disposte nei punti più chiave delle mappe che rendono la ricerca molto semplice, quindi non devi neanche davvero “cercare” il negozio che desideri visitare.

Essendo così curato non sembra neanche un outlet, ma ricorda che lo è!

Il bello è che tutti I brand hanno sempre una buona selezione che proviene dalle collezioni passate della boutique. Diciamo che sarai sicura di poter trovare quello che non sei riuscita ad acquistare nel negozio.
Molti vi si recano nella stagione dei saldi, quindi conviene tenere a mente un fatto importante, e cioè che in quel periodo ogni brand ha la propria policy relativa alle spedizioni e ai resi relativamente ai capi a saldo.

Ci passerai molto tempo probabilmente, quindi dovrai pensare al pranzo. Una delle cose migliori di questo outlet è il Dot.Com, un lunch bar fantastico dove servono insalate ottime. Io adoro andarci per lavoro, perché già so che con ogni probabilità farò un pranzo delizioso.

Space, l’outlet di Prada

Perchè dovremmo andare all’outlet di Prada a Levanella quando c’è già un outlet di Prada a The Mall? Perché è Prada.
Quello di cui vi sto parlando un vero pezzo dell’universo Prada, che è stato concepito e creato con la sua organizzazione e le sue regole. Inoltre qui si trova una selezione ottima di capi Prada e Miu Miu, il tutto disposto con un bellissimo stile.
Per chi poi ama lo stile di Miuccia, nell’Outlet di Prada si viene circondati da un’atmosfera e da un concept che sono veramente propri di questo  brand.

L’unica cosa da tenere a mente è che, a seconda dell’orario di arrivo, esiste le possibilità di dover attendere in fila per l’ingresso.
Ma l’organizzazione è ottima, e rende il processo molto semplice, perché non appena arrivati basta ritirare il proprio numero dalla macchinetta a lato dell’ingresso.
Questo vi permetterà di rispettare il vostro turno stando seduti o andando al bar, e inoltre va conservato per una seconda ragione. Infatti, via via che avrete scelto i vostri acquisti, potrete portare i capi al check out senza doverveli portare dietro nemmeno per un secondo.
In ogni caso gli  steward vi rispiegheranno tutte le regole non appena entrate, quindi potete arrivare rilassati!

Apro una parentesi sui dipendenti dell’outlet di Prada a Levanella, che sono i miei preferiti: sono sempre super pronti ad aiutare e dare informazioni su prezzo e prodotto. Unica nota stonata: l’ultima volta in negozio non tutti parlavano un inglese ottimo.

Io arrivo sempre un po’ prima per godermi la colazione nel loro bellissimo bar. Hanno una selezione di pasticceria che da sola varrebbe il viaggio!

Cavalli Factory Outlet

Ecco un altro outlet dedicato a un solo brand. Si trova nella zona industriale dell’Osmannoro, nella parte nord di Firenze, non lontano dalla sede aziendale e produttiva di Cavalli.

Perchè ve lo consiglio? Perchè è grandioso per misurarsi con un brand così impattivo, persino se Cavalli non è solitamente il vostro genere. Io ho sempre trovato qualcosa che sono stata poi in grado di mixare con quanto già avevo nel mio armadio.

Clara Lorj

Quello di Clara Lorj è un outlet dove andare per un’esperienza davvero fiorentina, perché raramente se non mai ci ho trovato dei turisti. In effetti vi sto parlando di un outlet che è davvero dei fiorentini, e dai fiorentini è molto amato. C’è una ragione, ed è il fatto che hanno sempre una selezione molto varia di brand e taglie e stili in un unico negozio. Non soltanto hanno molti brand, ma hanno grande scelta fra i capi di un’unica marca. Credo che un’esperienza smile possa andare bene praticamente per tutti! Lo staff è sempre super gentile.

Non è certamente un segreto questo outlet, che come tutti sappiamo fa parte di una catena che si può trovare in molte città italiane. Ma nonostante ciò è decisamente un buon posto per fare delle buone scoperte! Lo trovate in centro, quindi raggiungibile con facilità. Non ci andrei per avere un’esperienza di shopping creativo, lo definirei più come il posto dove, se sei in viaggio, trovi il pezzo mancate per il un’uscita decisa all’ultimo momento.
