La presentazione di Sisters Communication a Ferrara

Ieri come avevo anticipato ho avuto occasione di partecipare alla presentazione alla stampa di Sisters Communication, agenzia di comunicazione e network di blogger che si occupano moda e di food. Non solo è stata una giornata bella e piacevole, ma devo dire decisamente molto interessante!
Intanto la location era stupenda: nientemeno che il castello Estense di Ferrara. L’atmosfera era molto dinamica e viva, piena di curiosità e interesse. E’ stato bello incontrare e conoscere persone provenienti da diverse parti del Paese ma tutte con la stessa passione.
Anche il tema del blogging è essenziale, devo dire che uno degli aspetti più significativi della giornata è stato l’incontro con artigiani davvero molto interessanti, ognuno con la sua storia personale fatta di tradizioni, ricordi familiari, personalità unica e creatività.

Uno dei momenti salienti è stato il coking show con Massimiliano de Giovanni. Massimiliano si occupa di lezioni di cucina creativa e di cucina a domicilio. La sua filosofia è semplice: in Italia siamo molto tradizionalisti, e a casa nostra amiamo cucinare “come faceva la mamma”. Però poi quando usciamo andiamo nei ristoranti etnici! E allora perché non portare un po’ di creatività e di nuovo anche nella cucina di casa nostra? E ce lo ha dimostrato creando un’insalata di pollo del tutto nuova e insolita, con marmellate, avocado e zenzero, accompagnata con cous cous aromatizzato all’arancia…

Yesterday, as I anticipated some days ago, I had the opportunity to take part to the press conference of Sisters Communication, a communications agency and a network of bloggers that deal with fashion and food. Not only it was a beautiful, pleasant day, but I must say very interesting!
First of all, I would like to mention the  gorgeous location: the Estense Castle of Ferrara. The atmosphere inside was dynamic and very alive, full of curiosity and interest. It was a pleasure to meet and get to know people from different parts of the country but all with the same passions.
The theme of blogging was the first and essential topic, but I must say that one of the most significant aspects of the day was meeting so many and interesting craftsmen, each of them with its own personal history made of traditions, family memories, unique personality and creativity.
One of the highlights was the cooking show with Massimiliano de Giovanni. Massimiliano deals with creative cooking classes and he’s a personal chef, that means he does the cooking at your home. His philosophy is very clear: in Italy we love our cooking traditions, and we love doing our home cooking “as my mother did.” But then when we go out we go to the ethnic restaurants! So why not bring some creativity and new ideas in the kitchen of our house? He showed us how to create a chicken salad in a totally new and unusual way, with jam, avocado and ginger, served with orange flavored couscous… A very tasty moment in the day!
