Some young professionals hire me because they need help in some renewal work on their wardrobe, when they get a new job but still cannot afford a Total Relooking. So I have to be flexible and creative and do my research in order to guide them through this new life and the purchase of some great new formal pieces for their closet!
Here are some tips about how to renew your own wardrobe with some shopping.

How the Young Professionals should Choose Some New Shirts

First of all, go for white and light blue shirts. Dear Yopung Professional from alla over the world, I know it’s easier to opt for some more blue ones, but do not underestimate the white shirt! It’s certainly going to be THE classic with your black suit – and I know you owe one (or soon you’ll do)!

How the Young Professionals should Choose Some New Ties

It’s impossible to say what is ok for everyone as the different face shapes, necklines, skin tones, ages, occasions and the seasons make this impossible to do. BUT I give a general style tip: choose a burgundy micro figured tie, or otherwise a micro figured dark purple one. I agree on the fact that it’s being a trend now, but it seems like it’s going to became a new classic. We’re talking about young professionals here, trends are there to be followed, after all.

How the Young Professionals should Choose a New Suit

It’s so typical: all my clients in this phase of their career think they need more jackets. Seems like they tend to be jeans-blazer combo lovers. But I always find out that they always already have lots of blazers in their wardrobe – while you know you can’t wear twice the same suit in two consecutive  business meetings. Yet they should keep in their mind that this could just happen. This is why they need a new formal suit – not one more jacket.

In this case, my advice is: go for a new grey formal suit. I know it’s a perfect choice for spring/summer, in general (we’re still in Summer actually). But it’s going to be great matched with you new micro figured  burgundy or dark purple tie!

How the Young Professionals should Choose a New Pair of Shoes

Again, it is very hard to give a general rule on this topic, but let’s assume that a young professional is a skinny fit suit lover – that among my Italian clients is often  actually true. In this case I would suggest going for a plain toe Oxford, formal and easy to mix; a cap toe for those who already have a sense for fashion.
Now that we have the style, which color should I choose: I guess you already have a black one. Go for the dark brown. It’s formal, and you can even wear it with the black suit in a business meeting, I know it’s not a classic, we’re being a little bit “fashion forward” here.
The dark brown Oxfords  are classic and perfect with the grey and blue suit. So you can wear it with your grey new one!

Come costruire il guardaroba perfetto per il giovane professionista

 

Molti giovani professionisti mi contattano perchè li aiuti nel lavoro di rinnovamento del loro guardaroba da lavoro  perchè hanno un nuovo lavoro ma non possono ancora permettersi un total relooking. Quindi in questi casi devo essere creativa e flessibile, e fare la mia ricerca per guidarli in questa transizione verso una nuova vita e l’acquisto di pochi ma ottimi pezzi!
Ecco qui di seguito alcune tip per rinnovare il proprio guardaroba con un po’ di shopping.

 

Come i giovani professionisti dovrebbero scegliere delle nuove camicie

Provate a scegliere le camicie bianche e azzurro chiaro. So che la scelta più facile sarebbe per le solite camicie azzurre, ma non sottovalutate quelle bianche. Saranno sempre IL classico con il vostro abito scuro – e io so che ne possedete almeno uno! Oppure presto dovrai averlo.

Come i giovani professionisti dovrebbero scegliere delle nuove cravatte

È impossibile dare con certezza un consiglio che vada bene per tutti, dal momento che le variabili sono molte: la forma del volto, del collo, I toni della pelle, età, occasione e la stagione. Ma adesso proverò a dare dei consigli generali.
La scelta che consiglio per un rinnovamento è la cravatta burgundy o viola entrambe con micro disegni.
Voi mi direte che adesso è un trend, ma anche se questo è vero pare che questo trend sia destinato a rimanere, e che potrebbero diventare i nuovi classici.
Oltretutto stiamo parlando di GIOVANI professionisti, e quindi I trend vanno osservati dopotutto!

Come i giovani professionisti dovrebbero scegliere un nuovo completo

E’ decisamente tipico: tutti i miei clienti in questa fase della vita e della carriera pensano di aver bisogno di più giacche. Questo probabilmente accade perchè sono stati fino ad adesso amanti del combo jeans-blazer. Ma puntualmente mi rendo conto , osservando il loro guardaroba, che possiedono già molte giacche.
In questo caso il mio consiglio è di acquistare un nuovo abito intero, non altri spezzati. adesso siamo ancora in estate, quindi al momento forse direi per un acquisto immediate, di scegliere un abito grigio.
Che oltretutto sarebbe perfetto con la nuova cravatta burgundy o viola scuro!

Come i giovani professionisti dovrebbero scegliere un nuovo paio di scarpe

Di nuovo, è molto difficile dire la regola generale su questo argomento ma poniamo che il giovane professionista di cui parliamo sia un amante del abito  skinny fit – cosa che fra i miei clienti italiani è spesso vero. In questo caso suggerirei una Oxford plain toe, formale il giusto ma anche facile da abbinare. Credo che una cap toe potrebbe essere una bella soluzione, ma la suggerirei a chi abbia già un senso dello stile personale ben sviluppato.
Ora che abbiamo deciso lo stile, vediamo in quale colore potrebbe sceglierla.
scommetto che avete già una scarpa formale nera. Sceglietela allora in marrone scuro. È anch’essa formale, e potete addirittura indossarla con l’abito nero in un riunione di lavoro. Non è proprio un abbinamento dei più classici, io lo definirei un po’ “fashion forward” La Oxford marrone scuro è inoltre classica e assolutamente perfetta con l’abito blu e quello grigio. Adesso abbiamo creato l’abbinamento perfetto con il nuovo abito grigio che avete acquistato!

Cosa pensate dell’abito grigio? Pensate che sia troppo “serio” per un giovane professionista? Io penso che sia invece giusto cominciare a trasmettere l’affidabilità che questo colore aiuta a esprimere! Mi piacerebbe sentire qualche parere femminile sull’abito grigio maschile!
