Sunita Mukhi e le sue borse: an Evil Eye on Fashion!

Ho conosciuto la splendida Sunita Mukhi a Pitti W ed è stato colpo di fulmine con le sue borse. Hanno tutte una caratteristica distintiva, ed è la presenza di un bellissimo occhio in paillettes. Chiaramente ha un significato: è un occhio che protegge dalla malasorte e porta fortuna.

Ho avuto l’opportunità di conversare con la designer, splendida donna, ma vorrei che le immagini del prodotto parlassero per noi!

Come vedete ci sono borse per ogni occasione, ampie e pratiche, morbide, da giorno e mini per la  sera. Le clutch sono deliziose: il dettaglio dell’occhio è sul profilo.

Ogni modello ha un nome, eccone alcuni: Anna, la clutch a forma di occhio, in paillettes; Amwlie, la busta in rettile nero; Carmni, busta in rettile e beads.

Sunita è nata da genitori indiani a Malta, e ha sempre amato le stoffe sontuose e iridescenti del negozio dei suoi, da cui nasce la sua ispirazione.
Fra le sue inziative, la creazione di brose per iniziative charity, come per la ricerca sul cancro al seno. Ha in programma di creare la sua personale fondazione.

I met beautiful Sunita Mukhi at Pitti W and it was love at first sight with her ​​bags. They all have a distinctive feature, and it is the presence of a beautiful eye on them. It clearly has a meaning: it is an eye that protects against misfortune and brings good luck.
I had the opportunity to talk with the designer, this beautiful woman, but I wish the product images speak for us!
As you can see these are bags for every occasion, big and  soft for the day they became smaller for the evening. The clutches are adorable: the detail of the eye is on their profile.

Born to Indian parents in Malta, the sumptuous fabrics and iridescent hues give her inspiration, remembering  her family’s textile store.

Sunita has been creating pieces for charities such as Breast Cancer Research and looks to create her own foundation in the near future.
